Maruti Vitara Brezza has turned out to be a huge success for the Indo-Japanese carmaker in India. Sales of the compact SUV has already crossed 50,000, while the bookings have reached over 1 lakh mark since its launch in March 2016. Seeing the high demand of the compact SUV, the Indo-Japanese carmaker is now planning to introduce the petrol iteration of the vehicle in April 2017.

the petrol models of the vehicles are cheaper than their diesel counterparts. But, the Vitara Brezza’s Boosterjet petrol engine will be imported that will make it slightly more expensive than the diesel model. The Maruti Brezza petrol prices are likely to start at Rs 7 lakh for the base variant, and Rs 10 lakh for the top-spec model.
