Hero ZIR Overview
The most experienced automobile giant has pitched in at the right segment with many upcoming scooter models in the market. The Auto expo 2014 was definitely a visual treat for any that has at the same time increased the expectations of the Indian consumers. Many onlookers have their eyes fixed on the ZIR scooter bundled into two different looks. One comes with a typical European look and the other with a flat footboard. The European-style ZIR looks smart with a swept back screen however both the models almost look similar. On the other hand, the second ZIR had a more upright screen mounted on the handlebar giving it a more conventional look.

Both models get projector lamps, daytime running lamps, LED indicators, alloy wheels and an all-digital instrument cluster. ZIR is expected to be available in a lot of colors, however, there has not been many revelations on this
Showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo, Hero Moto Corp will soon launch ZIR scooter in India sometime this year. The 150cc scooter will be launched in two variants namely European style version and flat floorboard trim. An integrated hydraulic braking system is expected to be equipped in the scooter.
Styled modishly, ZIR is expected to feature key fitments such as dual projector headlamps up front with daytime running lights, LED indicators, petal disc brakes, tubeless tires, digital cum analog console with multi-information display and step seat.

Power is likely to be drawn by a four-stroke, 157.1cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine belting out 14bhp at 8500 RPM along with 1.29kgm torque at 7000 RPM.
