Audi R8 Coupe 

The new R8, as Audi claims, is the closest thing to a racing car than anything it has attempted to make for the road. This car has shed more than 45kgs compared to the outgoing model. The backbone is a lightweight aluminium space frame, with the B-pillars, central tunnel, and rear firewall made from carbon-fibre composite materials Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system received a full overhaul with a new computer-controlled clutch programmed to deliver the right amount of torque to the front axle, in place of the previous passive viscous inter-axle coupling. The front differential is open, as before, and the rear has a conventional limited-slip.
